An obsterician/gynecologist or OB/GYN. The OB is the one who deals with babies and helping with the birth process. The GYN deals with women and reproductive health. I know this because my sister wants to be one. :)

Almost all doctors can help a woman give birth, and many family practitioners do it routinely. But the doc that specializes in childbirth is called an Obstetrician or OBGYN.

In the US the usual doctor that sees to womens health during pregnancy and birth is an obstrician/gynaecologist. They specialise in womens health through the reproductive years and beyond.

An obstetrician. It can be a lady doctor or a male doctor. But nowadays you can find females doing a better job as an obstetrician.

An obstetrician helps with birth. Many women see an OB/GYN as that is their obstetrician and gynocologist in one.

Hope this helps. :-)
