I am having surgery for brest cancer soon and am scared and nervous have you ever had surgery and been scared

Yes. I had breast cancer and it is very scary. I promise you that it will be over before you know it and you'll be fine! Going under the anesthesia is the worst. You will only have a little pain. I am glad that you can atleast have it taken out and live a long life! I will pray for you- we are survivors!

I had a melanoma removed from my leg few months ago - didn't need chemo but the thought is still in my mind. Please don't be nervous (easier said than done). Go in with a good, positive attitude - keep your faith. Best of luck to you. I'll say a prayer. Write down a list of questions for your doctor as you think of them especially for the recup process. Hang in there!

okay its normal to be scared about having surgery because you dont want anything to go wrong or you jkust feel like will it hurt while let me tell you getting the surfery maybe scary and you might not want to do it but at the end it is all worth it and i hope everything goes while...

It is normal to be nervous. Don't worry you WILL be fine. Your doctor knows what he is doing.
I have had several surgeries and was slightly nervous before each of them.

any normal person gets nervous before any major surgery. just reassure yourself, make sure you have GOOD EXPERIENCED doctors. if youre REALLY nervous tell your doctors to give you valium or alprazolam or something.

Yeah, i accidentally cut off a piece of my right index finger and i had to be extremely "NERVOUS" about that freakish accident.

oh yeah!! i had to get my throat operated on when i was only 6!! i was so scared. but dont be woried!! you would be weird if you werent scared! just talk to your dr. about something you are not sure or are scared about.

yea, i was neverous.
just try to do something beside thinking of it.
I think everyone been scared during surgery.
