Go ahead and take a shower. That will not affect your period, except that you will actually stop bleeding briefly while you're in there. Be sure to put on a pad or insert a tampon afterwards b/c you will continue to flow shortly after you get out.

Take a shower; nothing bad will happen and the warmth from the shower will probably help with any cramps you may have. Don't worry about bleeding in the shower; the blood flow tends to stop in water (that's really weird, but it's true; I've noticed it and my friend's whole swim team said it's true for them, too), and any small amounts of blood that do come out will be washed down the drain and won't stain the shower or anything.

Why wouldn't you be able to take a shower when you just got your period?? Just take a shower...

I usually shower twice a day during my period. As soon as I step out of the shower, I kind of press a wad of toilet tissue between my legs to catch any blood and towel the rest of my body dry quickly. I take clean underpants and pad into the bathroom with me (as opposed to going back to my bedroom wrapped in a towel and dressing there). It's not complicated to shower during your period. Also, warm to hot water is very soothing.

when i first got my period i wondered the same thing. but take the shower or else ur going to stink!! showers are very important during periods. and when ur having ur period u must take a shower at least 3 times a day. nothing is gonna happen just take the shower like u would on any other regular day.just make sure that u try to use warm water cuzz that actually helps with the cramps and all the aches!

Hi. you can take you shower dont worry. but there are something that you should be aware of. 1- take shower with warm water 2- DO NOTTTT lie in the bathtub for thats so so bad for health.3- take your shower in a short time.

ok you take off your clothes and get in the shower it's not different to take a shower when you have your period

Not only can you shower but you're supposed to shower more than usual while having your period.
