Once a month. If you do it after your period is finished they won't be as tender.

Once a month in the weeks after your period. First part in the shower (and soaping the area makes it easier to work with the skin) and the other part on your bed (you can moisten the area as well with things like lotion or baby oil to feel the areas better).

Also, contact your doctor for additional information.

Usually recommend once a month AFTER your period
check both sides so that you learn what is normal for you

you then can compare each breast with the other.

if you notice one breast being different then see doctor

Once or twice a month. I do the exam while I am in the shower, and am of age now to have a mammogram once a year.
