I already had sex education in 6th grade, we passed around Kotex pads & we were embarrassed because the boys were there too.
I kept looking for things in my underwear. I thought some spots in it was my period, it really was only red fuzz.
I finally got my period when I was 12 1/2 @ Christmas time.
I think, school doesn't quite explain everything about menstruation.

I was 12, my mom was very sick due to a diet, so she was not living with us, and I was living with my grandma.
I got back from school and I felt wet down there. I saw my panties and they had some blood.
I got really scared I didn´t feel happy at all :(, I didn´çt know how to stop the blood. I got some toilet paper, and I never said anyone till my mom came back home 6 months later! :s go figure!
And I didn´t even told her she noticed!, cause I felt so wrong of telling anyone.
My brother was little he was a baby, I stole her diapers, and cut a piece and made myself a pad go figure!, then my mom noticed one day. I was very ashamed, but today I think about it, it is funny isn´t it? hahahah :D

I woke up on the first morning of 6th grade which is a big deal in our school because you move into the high school and I went to the bathroom and after I was done going to the bathroom I went to flush the toilet and I saw blood. I started freaking out my mom was at work because she works the night shift and my dad was the only one home so I went into my room and called my mom and she left work and came home with pads. My dad started freaking out when my mom came through the door. I got to stay home from school though :P

I was thirteen years old and I was getting ready for Easter. I noticed there was some brown stuff on my panties. I told my mother and she was very happy for me. I was not happy that it continued for the rest of the day and the week. I couldn't have felt more embarrassed that day with aunts, uncles, cousins there. That is one Easter I will never forget. The worst of it all is that my mom told my dad. He made a comment about my period that day and I felt I was going to die right there and then.

it wasn't 2 long ago it was the 1st of April 2006(i was 13 going to b 14 that year) i was in school (b4 this happened i always wanted to experience what it was like to have periods)my underwear felt a little heavy like there was stuff in it i could feel it but this time i didn't want to have my period that day knowing i was in a public place(i wasn't quite sure if it was in fact my period) i didn't want to be dirty but what else could i do i didn't have any pad in my bag! i didn't prepare for this i wasn't expecting it but luckily my skirt wasn't dirty when i arrived home i went to verify and the i saw blood i told my mom she told me to wash it right away to go take a shower and gave me a pad

I was in 1st grade, at the begining of the school year, when i had my first period/lesson. I think it was Math or science. Lasted 20 min.
If you askin bout the monthly period, then i've never had one. I'm a dude
