A couple of my friends told me that when you get into the water your period stops momentarily. Is it true?

Ok. I know that we young girls are sopposed to have lumpy breast.(im 19) im not sure if thats true but im going to get myself checked out. But my question is maybe like 5 days ago my girlys started to hurt and thats because my friend tom (time of month) was coming to visit me. and now im on my period. But i heard that your breast are only sopposed to hurt before your period. but they hurt to the touch. when i shower i scrub my chest very gently because my girlys hurt. But also my right one is even more painful it usually always is, even when i dont touch them. i get this painful sensation like for a second, but they both are sore. So is it normal to have sore breast during your time of month or should i be concerned. I would appreciate all the tips and help i can get..

ok i have been on the pill for a month. and a week before i was supose to start my period i spotted very lightly for two days..that was is.. and i was supose to start my period yesterday....havent..is it normal to miss your period during the first month of taking the pill.....i am kinda worried because i just recently learned when i obvulate....i know im 21 and should have known...but anyway, i didnt use any protection during that time and was on the pill only for a few days.....is it possible that i am pregnate??? i dont have any symptoms or anything....or would i yet?

Im not growing up i turned 13 a couple of months ago. All of my friends are starting puberty and having periods and its not fare. My boyfriends sister is 11 and has started her period the same time as her mum. And my mum started about that age aswell and i havent. I weight 6 stone 1 and 5ft 2 i havent had a growth spert. I no he pain isnt fun or anything like that but it makes you feel like your growing up and changing and normal. Im really down about it can anyone help please.

I have been on Depo For 4 months now from Febuary and my next shot is due july 31st. So basically this is my second shot till July.For my second shot I was two weeks late but I still got it.....by the way to add since my first shot in Febuary I have been Bleeding the whole damn time. But in between I will still feel a little nauses and Pregnant like. What do I do What is this ?!?!

i have sat with my legs crossed probably starting when i was around seven now i am fourty. i cross them every time i sit down, eventually after a long priod of crossing my top leg gets numb. i have heard that crossing your legs can cause vein problems, back problems, and hip problems, i dont have any at all, but is this true that it is bad? do you cross your legs also? and are you aware it might be bad?

i have a pool party today and i got my period yesterday . i cant wear tampons so yeah i cant do that. is there anything your can do to maybe make it lighter? not like a pill. but any food? i know thats unlikely but anything you can do!
i know it stops in water. but right when u get our it starts again.

I was in the hospital in December 2004, I had a miscariage and succesfully passed it myself, I had an exam at the hospital and ultrasound. The exam really hurt, and now I have been trying to get pregnant every since and can't. Could I called the hospital that I went to and find out what was performed on me if I give my information. I want to know if a DNC was performed, at the hospital they were very busy and didn't really let me know much. I'm just curious if it was a DNC, because that could be why I'm having a problem now. COuld I call and get info after this long?

My girlfriend wants to take the birth control shot...We have heard you need to take it within 5 days of ur period beginning...Well the situation we are in is we had unprotected sex a few days after her period ended...she took the morning after pill and started her period again a few days later but its very light and she feels like its going to end soon...she has been on her period again for about 3-4 days...should she wait until the next period to start taking the shot or can she get it now? I wasnt sure if it was safe or effective to take it now because the only reason she is on her period is because she took the morning after pill and its not her regular cycle right now...

VAGINAL SHRINKAGE

no trouble inserting anything(I don't use tampons,only pads) and nor is there any vaginal dryness,on the contrary continuos thick,white discharge which is thicker,also larger quantities than usual.No pain in the vagina or itching--I doubt it's thrush.Also there is no ''tightness''.However,I can definately see that it's smaller--it is currently just 1cm and it used to be at least 2 inches,I think.It is probably also significant to note that I am a virgin.I think I should also re-fresh my previous details;that my age is 16,my height 5 ft.8,my weight 50 kgs,my body fat 9.6--I am very active,very fit,excellent health,eat well.Judjing by all these factors,can you tell me what the problem is?
