I feel useless when she goes through . All I've been able to do is sit aside and feel bad. Is there anything I could do? Or is it not worth the time and effort?

Other than urging her to see a doctor if her pain is bad, there isnt anything that you can do really. Tell her if her pain is bad then she should see someone, it can be an underlying problem for something much much bigger. Urge her to go and see a Gynocologist.

Warm tea helped me, warm baths or showers, maybe a heating pad on her tummy would help. When I got really bad, my husband would take the day off of work, and rent some movies. We would lie on the bed curled up wand watch movies and cuddle all day, while I had a heating pad. Try urging her to take something like tylenol or ibprofen. It usually doesnt take the pain away, but it does certainly take the edge off.

Most of all be understanding, and comforting. Which you already sound like you are doing a decent job of, by wanting to help her. More men out there should be like you. Good Luck!

Theres really nothing you can do. she will be a little cranky and in pain so anything could set her off. Jus be sure to watch what you say and offer her a tylenol

There isn't much you can do. If she's in pain, you can recommend she go to a doctor. There's medication that can help her. Otherwise, don't make jokes about this very natural cycle and stay calm.

just be there for her, she'll appreciate the company. if she gets cramps, offer to rub her lower back or something gently, to see if it eases the pain a little. just let her know you care for her

What do you want to help her with? I don't understand, its like having her help you wipe your ass. What do you feel bad about, its just nature.
