My boyfriend and i had sex last night and we went to get a pregnancy test and on the box it says to do it in the morning (take the test)and then it says the first day after your missed period. Which one is it. or is it the morning of your missed period?

If you JUST had sex you CANNOT tell if you are pregnant until AT LEAST 2-3 weeks after you guys had sex. If you do not want to take the chance of being pregnant I suggest you go to Walgreen's, Dillions or any of the pharmacies and ask for the Plan B or its also the Morning After Pill. You have to do this with-in 72 hrs of the contraception happening for the best results. It will cost $25 to $40 usually but dillions it cost me $60. You do though have to be 18 or older to buy it yourself. If your not make sure to have a friend that is if you don't want your parents to know about it.
I will say though although it might sound like I'm preaching; You're taking some serious chances having unprotected sex. I too had unprotected sex all the time with my BF, because he told me "common please it doesn't feel as good" so I gave in. I did it thinking he was going to be faithful; we had been together for 3 years I thought we were going to get married and found out that he was sleeping with everyone. So no matter what he says PLEASE wear a condom its not worth the risk of getting a STD/STI or pregnant. It is the morning of your first missed period. There are some pregnancy tests that will give you a result 5 days before your first missed period. Try First Response. However, one day after havin sex you will not have a positive result.

I had to scare myself into quitting. This is gross and not nice, but I kept thinking about giving birth to a still born or having a newborn die in it's crib. It's morbid but it made me not want to light up a smoke. I was also diagnosed with placenta previa and I was told it could have been caused from smoking. I read a lot about it and I was scared of that too... the idea of a hysterectomy at 22 or bleeding to death on the delivery table are really good scare factors. Also change your routine... I quit going to the gas stations that know me and always had my cigarettes waiting. I mixed up the order I do things (like morning routine). I also quit doing the things that made me want a cigarette and when I went out I would really cling to my non-smoking friends so that I wouldn't be tempted. I fell off the wagon a couple times but I didn't let that make me think that I could just keep smoking... even if I had one, I'd say that I've quit and gave it an even harder effort.

The test wont work for a few days some up to nine days. Call your gyno, make an appt.

What went wrong to begin with oh yes no condom no birth control pill. What could go wrong pregnancy, HIV any std. Let us think before we engage.
