I had a baby in December, had an operation at the beggining of January to remove a Gangrenous Appendix and I've started taking the contraceptive pill again (this is my third week). I have noticed that I've been getting a slight blood stained discharge for the past week. Could any of these things be something to do with it?

Hi, i'm 27 years old, and i have very small breasts, so i've been taking Yasmine (birth control) for more than 3 weeks, and i feel that my breasts hurt very much, and i feel like i'm on puberty again. Remember how they hurt when they start growing...? yes, exactly like that. Is this normal, or should i contact my doctor. I hope they hurt, because they're getting bigger, even though i don't see a very deep change. Is it soon for that? Please respond.
Thanks

I have been on Paxil for about a month now and I have done really well with it. I haven't had any problem with it except the inability to orgasm or to orgasm easily. If I do it takes FOREVER. Does this get better as my body gets more used to it?

I am a large breasted woman. At times, I get a heat rash in the crease under my breasts. Generally, an extra shower a day and some powder takes care of it. Well, keeping it clean, washing with anti-bacterial soap and medicated powder are not working. Someone suggested deodorant to me, but the skin is broken(that is how bad it is) and I don't think that is a good idea at the moment. What do you ladies do in warmer weather?

Well, feel free to anwser. Cause i want to know how us guys "should" behave around you during "that time of the month". Should we be sensitive?, cuddly with you?, give you extra attention?. Your feedback is important. and as always, "Be Honest".

I have a very stubborn fat roll there. Regular exercise seems to have ZERO effect on it. I feel like something is wrong with me...I could care less about how I look as long as my husband is happy but this lower pouch feels like it is squishing me when I am sitting sometimes! I am barely overweight so I want just this one little think fixed.

Ok here's the deal. I had unprotected sex three months ago. The next day I got the morning after pill and took it as directed. I don't recall if I got the "period" that is expected after the pill. Soon after that I started on birth control and have been getting my period on a regular basis. What I am wondering is, am I just getting my period because the pill is forcing me to? Is there still a possiblity of being pregnant? I only ask because I've gained about 10lbs and have randomly vomited twice in the last two weeks. My weight has always been a steady 120 and I am almost never sick. As per other symtoms, I have been noticably tired and have had abdominal cramping. I took a home pregnancy test that came up negative but am still paranoid. I have also had a pap test since and they took urine. Would they have detected a pregnancy through that? Thanks

my parents are convinced that I'm starving myself.

this is totally NOT TRUE. I just have a fast metabolism. They think i'm bulemic because I took laxatives yesterday, but that was only because I had been constipated for 4 days and needed help. I don't use them regularly. Also, I'm a bit of a health nut and I won't eat things with more than 200 calories, and my parents think that I'm anorexic because of it. I also recently became a vegetarian. How do I convinve them that all my decisions and food-consciousness are because I want to stay healthy, and not because I have an eating disorder??

Why is bacterial vaginosis classified as an STD when there are many other ways to get this even if you are not currently sexually active, like by wiping incorrectly or bad diet. Can someone please clear this up for me?

When I had my son 6 years ago, my ob said she didn't support decisions about tubal ligation during pregnancy or after birth. Did anyone else hear this? Also my mother had a hysterectomy in 1981, and my friend said there must of been something wrong with her for the doctor to perform that surgery and my mother says there wasn't, she just wanted it done and that was ok back then. Does anyone else know of this happening? My guy friend and I are arguing and I'm tired of hearing his opinion on women's bodies and what's the right thing to do with them!

A couple of years ago I had a right-side oopherectomy for ovarian cysts that had torted. Following this, I had severe pelvic pain which they diagnoised as endo folllowing a laproscopy (also had adhesions) and treated by use of a progesteron inplant which, until last week, seemed to be working as had very little pain and was able to continue my life as normal.

Last week I was admitted to hospital with right lower abdo pain - initial though was appendicitis but upon surgical intervention, discovered 5 sites of severe endo which have removed. My question is this - I am aware that after progesteron treatment, my next option is GnRH hormone therapy BUT I have epilepsy and know I can't take this as reduces seizure threshold. I have asked for a complete hysto before but my age (25) and fact I don't have children means I am not a good candidate. Does anyone else know of any treatment that epileptics can take for endo? Or is hysto only option? Many thanks!
