Hi, i'm 27 years old, and i have very small breasts, so i've been taking Yasmine (birth control) for more than 3 weeks, and i feel that my breasts hurt very much, and i feel like i'm on puberty again. Remember how they hurt when they start growing...? yes, exactly like that. Is this normal, or should i contact my doctor. I hope they hurt, because they're getting bigger, even though i don't see a very deep change. Is it soon for that? Please respond.
Thanks

It is normal when your body is experiencing hormonal changes to have tender breasts but this doesnt necessarily mean they're growing. And NO birth control doesnt make your breast bigger, it does, however, cause some women to gain weight. The breast area is a vulnerable area for fat storage, so most women if they gain weight due to birthcontrol they might find they have bigger breasts.

I am breastfeeding my 2 month old daughter and my doctor prescribed me to Seasonique. It's a birth control pill. He told me that I may notice a slight decrease in how much milk I produced but that after a little while it would even itself back out. I've been taking the pill for about 2 weeks now and I haven't really noticed that big of a difference. Hope that helps.

Hi!
I take a birth control pill - have been for seven years, I don't remember seeing a massive change in the size of my breasts although they did certainly get a bit bigger.
The soreness is probably down to the hormones in the pill and it's effects on your breasts however if it continues and you are worried see your doc to put your mind at rest.
But remember you are prob lovely the way you are.
All the best.
