Women's Health - August 2006

I am on the pill, and i switched to tri-cyclen lo a couple months ago. Before that i was on triquilar. I started a new pack last week and now i am spotting??? I have ever spotted before.

Does anyone else take the pill 12 weeks straight and then one week off? My doctor told me i could do this to reduce the amount of times i have a period. At first i still decided to stop after 3 weeks to get my period, but this week, i started another pack right away.

I believe I am in need of an anti-depressant. I have been battleing depression for a long time, even attempted suicide. I don't like the idea of depending on medication, but I want to be happy, and normal. Any suggestions of medication would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much

For all females on the pill have you noticed any side effects like constipation, weight gain, excess hunger, or bloating?
I just want to see how common these side effects can be.

i took the morning after pill about 3 weeks ago.. then 2 weeks later i got this blood, really dark and brown but my period wasnt due till a week later. then the dark brown blood turned a bit more red like a period but ive been bleeding like this for more than a week now. i usually bleed for only 4/5 days so i dont know wot it is. does any1 know if this is a side-affect of the morning after pill? or if it could be an eptopic pregnancy? thanks for any help cos im very worried about this!!

i always over react but i have a question and just was curious. my normal starting date for my perid would have been yesterday butmy birth control got messed up this month and i ended up starting the pack a few days late. basically yesterday was my last of taking the blue hormonal pills and today is the first day of my sugar pills. will this dely my period? i still have my pms symptoms, moody, bruising, and what not.

i am of the opinion that there should be separate toilets for ladies only because existing public toilets are in bad shapes , stinking and embarassing for females especially who are in their periods,

I feel embarras to talk to my bfriend b cas of my mouth(smelling)?
If i spend a lot of time to brush then its ok. But it is difficult.

Look, this is for the women here. My wife and I met a little over a year ago and she was a virgin then. We got married and have been very happy together. She does have a problem, though. Seem like every time we are intimate, she bleeds afterwards. I understand this happens to a virgin, but it's been over a year now and it still occurs.
