Why dun u try find a councellor that able to act as a friend... maybe she will open up to a 'friend' more than a specialist.

Try ur best to make her feel safe. but no to the extend of controlling her life.

Try ask a councellor advise on how u can help her as he dad...

wish u all the best.. take care.

I was molested too as a child by someone that i really trust and always thought that no one beleived me and i could not trust anyone. So in order to console her she must first establish that you beleive her and that you can be trusteted. TO comfort her and make her feel good you basically just need to give her her space and lots of time to recover. Just be there for her and listen when she talks and answer when she askes for answers. But one thing to avoid is alot of SPOILING. That is just ketting her have her way because of her situation. And enroll her into some couseling class.

I sugges that you encourage her to seek help either a counsellor or some other professionals. Due to the incident, it is affecting her emotionally. Is advisable for her to seek help sooner than later. Is she close with anyone? Maybe you can have someone that she is close with to encourage her to seek help. I am a Certified Hypnotherapist in profession. If you need help, I might be able to assist. But your daughter need to realise that this is her problem now and is affecting her life and she requires help.

Basically I think she lost the trust in human being. As her dad, I think u shld spend more time with her as u r her next of kin. Comfort her and communicate with her so that she could recovered slowly. Remember don't force her.Give her time to recover from the incident. Your support is the most important factor at this moment coz she really can't trust anybody else.
