I do not know how old you are,but it is normal for young ladies not to have a menstrual period until age 17.The younger you are when you get your menses, you have a higher incident of cancer of your ovaries or your uterus.Go to the doctor. He can not "make you" have a period. He may do a digital exam and maybe a pap smear. He may decide whether to have you wait until you get your period or he could put you on birth control,to nudge your body along.Of course just b/c he puts you on birth control, does not mean you can go out a have a "sex"spree.Take care of your self. There are too many fatal diseases that you can't wash off with soap and water.

Doctors can't MAKE you get one if you haven't already. There is no magic pill.
But if you have had your period and it's irregular, they might put you on the pill to help control it.
Depending on your age, go talk to your family doc about it. See what they have to say before you freak out.
Girls get their periods at different ages. No one is the same.

I have never heard that a dr can make you have it. If you are really concerned, you should see a dr for a checkup. But don't worry you can get your period anywhere from age 9-17 and still be perfectly normal.

They may give you some sort of hormone therapy. I know that birth control pills regulate when a woman starts and stops her period every month - they may not give you those, but maybe something like that. Maybe just a little estrogen to encourage your body to start.

Only God can make you have a period. Be patient. It'll come when it's time. Don't stress over it. It'll happen. It's not all that great and it can be a real pain so enjoy your time without it.

Sometimes they can give you a medication. No biggie.
