Women's Health - August 2006

I been using the Nuvaring since July 16th. i took it out around 9pm on August 1,( Didn't have sex until around 2am or so)I wasn't supposed to take it out until August 6 and didn't put it back in at all i'm waiting until my next cycle which is about a week and a few days away. Is this enough time for the ring to be effect alone? Should i put it back in now, the day after?

I got my period around the 2nd week in June and it lasted about 6 days and that's normal for me. Then I got it AGAIN on June 27 and it last about 4 days and I haven't got it since. I'm worried that I could be pregnant. I haven't got my period and I'm hopeing it's just stress from worrying about it.Please Help!!

Ok, Im 22 and my period has been crazy this last cycle. It usually lasts 5 days no matter what. This last cycle it only lasted about 3 days. I didnt get my usual menstural symptoms either. It ended on July 29. For the last 3 or so days Ive been having severe breast pain. Usualy in 1 or the other. Its a sharp pain that lasts about 15-20 mins and then it goes away usually. Ive been more moody than usual and Im really tired all the time. I dont know what it could be. My cycle has never been this off before and Im freaking out over all the stuff I read on the net about breast cancer and fibroids. I doubt its pregnancy, I never ovulated during my period before.
ANY help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, I have had sex before..but i'm not right now && don't plan on it anytime soon. But My face only breaks out right before my period and it breaks out real bad. And my mom suggested it but said she would give me time to think or w/e. But i'm 15 1/2 && I know alot of ppl my age are takin them to regulate their periods && That is good cause I run cross-country && i will know which week i'm gonna be on my period which really helps..I've also read about weight gain...If i am skinny && run 3 miles everyday..I don't think i will...? but idk? && What questions will the ask you or what will you do when you go up to the doctor to get them...MY mom tried to explain but i want other opinions. Thanks!!

My breasts hurt more than they ever have in my life... I am 25 years old (26 next week) The pain is mostly int he nipple area (almost feels like itis behind it!!) I've never had this kind of pain or tenderness before... Any ideas?

I'm in my first week of having this procedure done. It's to send a message to my brain that I'm full when eating a well balanced meal. I've noticed some change in that thinking process and was wondering if anyone else has/had/or thinking about it? Let me know your thoughts on this please.

every girl has a normal smell in their vagina...usually..not a bad raunchy smell, just a smell. i used to not have any smell at all whatsoever. now i have a very light vaginal odor that i cannot get rid of, i clean with anti bacterial dial soap non scent every day. my boyfriend hates it and he says i need to fix it, im desperate for anwsers, i dont know why it wont go away ive had it before but thats when i had a yeast infection, im clean now and it wont go away, any advice would help.

I had my first child 4.5 months ago via c-section. Even now, the incision is still somewhat sore. It's not sore enough that I feel I have to take a painkiller, but I'm definitely aware of the fact that I'm uncomfortable, especially when I'm walking. If you've had a c-section yourself or are a healthcare professional, please help. Do you think I might have an infection?

I am requesting her to run some tests, what tests should I ask for? So far I have written down:
count platelets
sugar level
check iron
gluton intolerance

Any others? Please give me as many tests as necessary..I have good insurance, and know that something is just not right.

My urethra hurts, my pee stings a little, I have soreness all around my vagina. There's no abnormal discharge or smell. When something is inserted into a vagina (something as small as a tampon) it hurts! I went to the doctor yesterday and was tested for a UTI, but that was negative. The doctor is just as confused as I am, nothing seems to add up!

I have also used yeast infection treatements, nothing was worked. This has been going on since Friday (very lightly) until now (very painful). The doctor also gave me a 3 day antibiotic.

Has anyone else ever had something like this or can give me some advice? Thanks a lot!

Well my boyfriend had ya know, fingered me three days ago and i think he might of scratched me or somthing because it kind of hurts now but its not the first time hes "fingered" me and its never hurt a couple days later before. Tell me whats wrong and what do i do? also do i tell him?

I am 53years old woman. I am already reached menopause. I found a lump about 2.5inch length near the vagine opening on my thigh about 3 days ago.. It doesn't feel hurt or itchy. I am very worried that it might be a cancer or tumour. i am very shy and uncomfortable to seek a doctor as it involves near my private parts. Could anyone pls figure it out for me. Its size worries my a lot. But it doesn't feel hurt or painful. I just felt a sudden feel of pain just about 2seconds yesterday night but the pain disappear. I did not feel any pain today. Please help me. I have diabetic and i've reached menapouse about a year ago. Pls HELP ME
