I am requesting her to run some tests, what tests should I ask for? So far I have written down:
count platelets
sugar level
check iron
gluton intolerance

Any others? Please give me as many tests as necessary..I have good insurance, and know that something is just not right.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION, she is trying to put me on antidepressants. Is that what I want? NO! I am the one paying the money, I call the shots! I AM THE ONE WHO KNOWS THAT I DO NOT FEEL RIGHT. I paid to have a visit last week, and she puts on antidepressants? NO!!!

I would have a Thyroid panel done. I was having some on the same systoms not to long ago. Also have a complete panel run. It will check everything, blood count and all. Also, keep a log of what you eat, what time you eat it and if any of your systoms are worse. Sometimes, if I eat diary I can get very fatigue, headaches like a miragine. The best of luck. Oh it can also be helpful to ask family members if they have any of the same problems, it could be something pass through the generations. Good Luck. Let us know how you do.
I would try the meds that the doctor gave you. When I was having the same systoms, they but me on Zoloft and I found that it helped. So I would give them 3 months and still ask for the blood work. If she is a good doctor she will listen to you. My doctor is awesome and I feel like I am very lucky to have her after reading some post on here. The Best of luck.

I don't know what tests to suggest, but I would suggest trying a different doctor. Someone else may know just what to do. Also, you don't say how old you are, could you be entering perimenopause? I found this paragraph on some of the symptoms and I will add a URL in the source space that has a list of symptoms. I thought my whole body was falling apart when I went into perimenopause and I found a list of symptoms and discovered I had all of them! Here's the paragraph:

There is a range of symptoms like hot flashes, night sweats, mood changes. But there are also more subtle changes. Women talk with me about having difficulty concentrating, organizing, about joint aches and pains, increased headaches, fatigue. One of the challenges is determining whether symptoms can be attributed to menopause or perimenopause, life stresses, or some other condition.

If you are entering perimenopause (a range of years before you enter menopause) it's pretty easily treated. I went with a natural way rather than hormones. I was told by my doctor that soy has natural phyto-estrogens and I started drinking a glass of soymilk a day and I usually have great days. If I do get an occasional symptom it is not as severe as it was before I started the soymilk. There are also many other alternatives, if this is what you're dealing with.

I can't recommend anything other than the iron, but honey, I feel your pain. I've been going through the same thing thinking it may be either the heat or maybe I'm slightly depressed.

These decisions are best left up to your doctor. Just tell her your symptoms and how long you have had them and she will discuss with you what needs to be done.
