I had my first child 4.5 months ago via c-section. Even now, the incision is still somewhat sore. It's not sore enough that I feel I have to take a painkiller, but I'm definitely aware of the fact that I'm uncomfortable, especially when I'm walking. If you've had a c-section yourself or are a healthcare professional, please help. Do you think I might have an infection?

see your doctor, it shouldnt be like that. my aunt had twins and she had a c-section, and after about 3 months of agony and pain and blood oozing out she went to her doctor and they did surgery to fix the problem and 2 weeks later she was back to normal, and they said about a month or two after a c-section you should be numb and not be in pain anymore.

I've had 2 c-sections, and after 4.5 months, it should not be sore. Actually it should probably be numb. Make an appointment with your doctor.
