Time to grow up and stop being shy around a doctor. IF the lump is not actually on your vaginal lip, and is on the thigh, it is likely a lipoma, just a tumor comprised of fat, not dangerous or malignant. If it is on the vaginal lip, then it could be a clogged Bartholin's gland and require treatment.

It could be a cyst or it could be a swollen lymph node. Don't hesitate to get it looked at though because something like that could be malignant. Some types of cancer spreads through the lymph nodes. Dont wait call your doc.

It could be a swollen gland. There are two glands on either side of the vagina. You should consult a doctor however. No shame in that. They have seen much more believe me!

First off you're old enough to know doctors are there to help, not make fun of your body.
Second if it is something that needs to be removed, you'll need a doctor.
Get of your fear and go.
