My breasts hurt more than they ever have in my life... I am 25 years old (26 next week) The pain is mostly int he nipple area (almost feels like itis behind it!!) I've never had this kind of pain or tenderness before... Any ideas?

It is possible that I am pregnant... but I also have PCOS, so have been getting screwy results witht he tests.

you might be having a little one in 9 months!!! it depends though if you haven't had your period in a while...or if you see a bump on your breast you may have cancer..but there is a 99.9% chance you wont have anything...so all signs are pointing to pregnancy..

Have you been drinking more caffeine or eating more chocolate lately. That can definitely cause breast tenderness. If you feel the pain in both breasts than it's probably related to something fairly benign. I used to have really painful breasts right before my period when I drank coffee -- now I have no tenderness at all since I don't drink any kind of caffeine. Hope you feel better soon -- I know how frustrating it can be!!

Are you on birth control or could you be pregnant? Hormones can make your nipples sensitive.
