Sorry, but I was watching this thing on Drew Peterson and his 3rd wife dieing in the tub, with the police officer and a forensic person talking about the way the body was and the coloring to it upon discovering it, which led me to think about my father and grandmothers deaths.
I was the one that had to claim both their bodys at different times..
My dad died from a botched surgery, as I was left alone with him I checked him out, you know making sure he was dead and all by touching his arms and legs, "cold" of course, and his chest was clammy yet luke warm,
He was a plaid color, or blotchy - white, purple and blue all over his face and chest.
Grandma was white as a ghost and looked pretty good for her age.
ok, so, (sorry if you think this is wrong but, HEY I have to ask)
blood pools to the bottem upon death so that is the part that is purple or discolored.
both died on their backs so why was grandma not colorful like dad?
Dad was claimed sooner (few hours) though.

I have recently been diegnosed with Anemia. Im 14 years old and passed out in a class of mine do to Anemia. I would really like to prevent that form happing again. And need to eat foods with iorn i was told. What types of food has a good amount of iorn that teenagers whould not mind eating. Im not that particulr.

i am not really at deaths door, but im training to be a nurse. im a bit sniffly and it would really cause havoc to not show up for me as i need X hours... should i go into hospital? i just have a bit of a cold but i dont wanna transmit infection everywhere (or be perceived that way)

Well, I'm just gonna say it. This past weekend, i went to a party and unfortunately got extremely intoxicated. I found out the next morning that i ended up hooking up and going all the way with my ex-boyfriend. I bearly remember ANY of it and a lot of people are telling me that he completely took advantage and that i was nearly passed out...

I haven't talked to him since the "incident" and i'm so scared as to what happened...he probably didn't use protection and i don't know where he's been since we dated...

i'm so lost...what should i do? there is no way i can tell my parents...they still think i haven't gotten my first kiss and i'm 17. yeah, telling my parents is not possible...ughh

Hi, I had this rash for like 3 days now. It's not on my knees/inner legs and elbows/inner arms. was on my stomach but very slightly and not on my face. I stopped takin lamictal 2 days before this rash happened and im not really having trouble breathing. It's itchy but on and off and the rash seems to go and come. I asked a pharmacist and they said it probably wasnt my meds but maybe something I ate or this new soap I used. it's pretty much just reddish and no peeling skin or blisters. what does anyone think it could be???

well i'm a young girl and i'm wondering why my hands (especially the left one) shakes so much. when i get nervous and play the piano they shake even more. at times its embarrasing b/c ppl give me stuff and i give out my shaky hands!!!...what is wrong? and NO i'm not phobia of anything like germs and all that jazz!...what should i do?

She is 9 now and profoundly autistic,but the main problem is getting her dressed for school in the mornings,it is a fight and a half.it is also very upsetting,she has little speech,so we dont know why she is like this.when she is at school she seems happy,she isnt on medication because she simply wouldnt take it.we are at our wits end!

you know the pen they use to mark a piercing?

i had a piercing done today and i cant seem to shift the ink she used to do it!

im cleaning it with normal hot water and salt which is what she said but it wont come off!

anyone know how to remove it?

It really hurts =[ i just noticed it today. And i mean it's REALLY down there haha. Sorry if it sounds gross but I tried to squeeze it and nothing happened except that it hurt more....And no, it's not an STD, I'm 17 and a virgin. Any way on how to get rid of it or make it hurt less? Or will it just go away by itself eventually?

Really? WHY do we grow hair all under our armpits and all over our genitals? What good does it do?
When people havent shaved their underarms, all you get is stronger B.O. So what gives?

My boyfriend and I like to put on backpacks and hiking boots and pretend we're on that show, "The Amazing Race". We go around the neighborhood knocking over trashcans looking for "clues" and "flags"... and running up to people out walking their dogs to ask them "Which way to the Taj Mahal?" or "How do we get to Colonial Williamsburg?".

Anyway... we were immersed in a rather exciting journey through the Great Pyramids of Egypt and were rummaging through an ancient vessel of treasures (Mrs. Johnson's recycling bin) when I felt my hand immersed in a stinking, gel-like substance.

I played it off as though I had stuck my hand into the innards of a crushed Scarab Beetle that had come to life... but now I have been cursed with a rather disturbing outbreak.

It's rashy, red, and itchy. In the bin there were mostly canopic jars (empty Mt. Dew bottles) and mummified cats (balled up Syran Wrap).

What do you think I've contracted?

First time "questioner." My nephrologist has prescribed me 5 mg Percocet (schedule II drug) per day (30 day supply) which I just got filled on 11-2-07. I've been taking it for about a year since I had to retire due to my condition. (I have End Stage Renal Disease and am undergoing dialysis due to only 17% adequacy in my remaining kidney.) I feel I need to go back up to my original higher dosage of 10 mg. - 5 mg is just not strong enough. I see the doctor tomorrow and will ask her to increase the dosage to 10 mg. Should my insurance pay for it before the 30 days are up? Since it's schedule II, the pharmacy is very strict about when it's filled. I'm not sure since it's the same medicine but a higher dosage.
