After my baby was born by last-minute c-section, the hospital didn't monitor me properly. The next day I had to have emergency surgery for blood clots and internal bleeding, which caused even more problems. We are thinking of suing the hospital, and wonder if anyone has had a similar experience? Can you recommend a good solicitor in this type of claim?

I was a bit hungry and set out for a walk with my son everything seemed ok at first.... half way through the walk I noticed my vision became really blurry mostly in the distance ( Things were blurry that I could normally see clear) When I got home I almost threw up and felt very weak and light headed I had to lie down for a good while and my ears started ringing.... I had to eat and relax for a good while to recover.
I have had this happen before were my vision just suddenly becomes blurry... mostly on walks I have noticed....
I am breastfeeding my 9 month old son... I am 24 and have a slim/petite body type..... what could be wrong with me? what causes my vision to get blurry like that?

It wasn't long ago that I made the connection between fluorescent lights and the headaches I was getting. Is there any way to prevent them?

It seems like fluorescent lights are everywhere now a days. A year ago I thought it might be a good idea to replace all the bulbs in the house with them. I thought that I could save energy and make my electric bill go down. This was not the case. In fact a few bulbs died out after 6 months of use. This was way before the 5 year warranty the package had promised. I plan on replacing these bulbs with the "full-spectrum" type lights very soon.

I read somewhere that fluorescent light also increases your risk of diseases such as cancer. Is this true?

I feel like, in general, those who write on the internet, are those who have bad experiences.
So every time I read about problems that I have or that my family has, I get all freaked out - and I think almost unesscesarily so.
You?

Only about half of people agree to be organ donors when they get their driver's license. That means thousands of people die every year waiting for organs that never come.

If you're not an organ donor, why not?

For the last three months I have been going through this wierd "sickness"....it starts with quite a bit of gas, then I notice my bowel movements are looser and more frequent (2-3 times a day) and I usually get a little bit of nausea, mostly in the afternoon. My body feels like it has a cold, have aches and just feeling "off" a little. Then these "symptoms" taper off within a few days, bowel movements get pretty normal and I go about once a day and have less gas. I noticed all this started about three months ago when I was on antibiotics, clindaymycin, for an abscess tooth. The tooth was pulled and I didn't end up finishing the antibiotics because I started feeling very ill. Now three months later, four doc and ER visits to be sure, I am told nothing is wrong with me. I have been able to go about my daily job and such but my body tells me its not 100% right like it used to be. Is it my insides or a re-ocurring viral infection?...Any advice or help would be a godsend, Thank you much :)

A month ago the blood donation mobile center came to my school to take blood, my friend REALLY! wanted to give blood, and she had just had her tongue done a few months back, would of been bad if she did not tell them that it was a new piercing when she donated the blood? she had got her tongue pierced, but she had taken oiut....

Estimated Per Capita Death Rates by Drugs

----------------------------------------------------------
Drug Users Deaths per Year Deaths per 100,000
----------------------------------------------------------
Tobacco 60 million 390,000 (a) 650
alcohol 100 million 150,000 (b) 150
Heroin 500,000 400 (c) 80 (400)
Cocaine 5 million 200 (c) 4 (20)
----------------------------------------------------------
I Mean there are more death by smoking and alcohol than heroine and they have named heroine a class A drug but if smoking isn't as bad but killing more of us why sell it to us, i no its expencive and have to be the age of 18 to buy but its rediculous, i mean im not in favour of heroine or anything but they might as well leagalise it
