I weigh like 109 pounds and i hear you need to be 110, i really want to donate blood, i dont care if i get light headed

You will fill out a questionaire if this is your first time to donate and one of the question's along with many others is weight. You need to weigh 110. You could easily put on one pound, by drinking water which would help plump up your veins and be helpful for the blood draw.

The 110# rule is for a reason. Just wait until you've gained a little or donate your time instead.

If you're that light, and it's that important to you - just go right after you eat a good meal and drink a lot of extra water for 24 hours or so before - it'll get you the extra pound.

no if they suspect you're not, they'll weigh you... and donating blood isn't worth it if it puts your health at risk
