It could possibly be a hemorrhoid. These are bulging veins in the intestines and rectum/anus. When feces (especially the dry or hard kind) goes through the bowels, it can scrape these bulging veins and cause them to bleed a little. I think really dry/hard feces could probably even cause scrapes and bleeding in your rectum even if you don't have hemorrhoids, so you should make sure you drink enough water and eat enough fiber (38g per day) to keep your bowel movements soft.

If you keep having problems, or if it starts to happen all the time, you should talk to your doctor.

Hemorrhoids could be it, but I had a history or ulcerative colitis, and I have heard quite a bit on crones. If your stools aren't so large causing tears, and hemorrhoids are ruled out, I'd consult a Dr. I know there's alot they can do for ulcerative colitis and crones with medication and diet.
