I am 18 and on birth control.
I smoke maybe 1, sometimes 2 cigarettes a day.
I often go many days without smoking any at all.
Many times I only take hits of other people's ciggarettes.
How much do you think this will interfere with my birth control.

And yes I know smoking is bad no matter what.
But that isn't my question so please do not preach your 'do not smoke' campaigns to me.
The fact is: i already do occasionally.
I have been smoking on and off for a year or so, and I have never been a heavy smoker, so do not tell me "one will lead to more".
Please only answer the question if you have valuable information.

Basically I smoked a bit of weed yesterday. Now I goto the doctor and she pulls some lab testing out on me. I just need to know if they even detect it when they too tests for vitamins and minerals etc.

I'm female and still bedwet. My mother bought me adult terry nappies & plastic pants after trying alarms, medication etc. the reason(s)

a. Soon as I unrinate in my nappy, I'll feel the wetness from the towel almost instantly, so I can rush to the bathrom, unfasten it and use the loo before I pee any more. By following this routine of waking up and going my bedwetting will eventually stop.

b. Better for people with sensitive skin as disposble pads causes rashes.

Some say that large terry towelling nappies (for older children, adults) are so heavy & fast in water- absorbency that the wearer fails to feel the wetness, which in a minority of cases, encourages bedwetting.

I haven't yet noticed any difference

Hi there I don't know if anyone has heard of anything like this before. But I think I must have really sensitive ears becaue things that people would normally not bother about make me jump. For example I've recently just been to see one of my favourite bands in concert the place where we went to ws kind of like a pub and the music was that loud that I had to spend most of the night in the toilets. When the group came on I couldn't get near the stage beacause it was too loud. I know this may not seem like much but it is really starting to take over my life as something as simple as a dog barking scares the life out of me. This has recently become more of a problem as my friend has just had a puppy which constantly barks so i can't been around her as much because she always has the puppy with her. I've tried explaning but she doesn't understand. We have a phone right next to it and if im on the computer and the phone rings it makes me jump. Is there anything i can do please help.

I am taking 60 mg of prednisone a day for now to help keep my platelets normal. I was diagnose with ITP. I am swelling everyway my face and my stomach...due to the prednisone. I know this is one of the side of effects. I have gained 15 pounds. Is there anything I can do while taking this for another 5 weeks to loose the swelling and the weight gain? I am really concerned and embarrassed about how I look now?

Ive had other boyfriends and none have been like this. Not only does he snore but he will stop breathing every few minutes and then gasp for air. It doesnt bother him at all but I cannot sleep, read or even think to myself. Its to the point where today I am going to tell him we can no longer sleep together. Any advice?

Ok, so I recently tried acid for the first time, and the effects were not quite what I had expected. Others with me that also took it said that they had much better results. Things were still different for me, but not as intense as I had hoped it would be. So I just came to the conclusion that the acid I took was very weak. The next morning when I woke up I had a terrible headache. For some reason this bothered me because as far as I know, there is not suposed to be a headache like this the next day. Also, others that tried the acid said that they had extremely bad headaches the next morning. So I am just curious, is this some what normal? Was that even acid that we took, or am I just over thinking all of this? I hear that some people sell arsenic off as acid so it started to bother me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thought this was an interesting quote. Either it says a lot about our priorities or proves how truly powerful the drug pushing tobacco companies really are.

i had to leave town to help my dying grandma this weekend, but i couldn't bring my baby so i had to let the only person who i know in my town watch her, her estranged father and well when i came back to get her from his house she was really pale white and her lips were purple and she was coughing and sneezing really horribly and she looked so sick. she threw up many times and would eat anything she also had an ear infection and was really cold. i asked him what happened and he said he left he in the backyard to play in the snow for a while and forgot he said she was out side in the icy snow FOR 4 HOURS!!! i tried to keep her really warm and feed her soup but she wasn't getting any better i tried to take her to the clinic because we can't arrord the hostpitle but we dont have any way of payment, i also tried to get her some medicine from the store but i could only afford to get her some cough medicine and it didn't work, what is wrong with her and what can i do to get her better???
