Hangover from acid?

Ok, so I recently tried acid for the first time, and the effects were not quite what I had expected. Others with me that also took it said that they had much better results. Things were still different for me, but not as intense as I had hoped it would be. So I just came to the conclusion that the acid I took was very weak. The next morning when I woke up I had a terrible headache. For some reason this bothered me because as far as I know, there is not suposed to be a headache like this the next day. Also, others that tried the acid said that they had extremely bad headaches the next morning. So I am just curious, is this some what normal? Was that even acid that we took, or am I just over thinking all of this? I hear that some people sell arsenic off as acid so it started to bother me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

the problem with designer (ie man made) drugs is that there is no quality control. the people making them can put pretty much whatever they like in them and you will never know. the biggest problem seems to be that cheaper ingredients seem to 1) not be as good for you and 2) do not have the desired effect on you.

with normal lsd (the active narcotic in acid) you should definitely not have a headache the following day. keep in mind that headaches are caused by dehydration, so if you were running around tripping like a crazy fool then maybe you just didn't drink enough water... therefor headache.

generally the sensation the next day should be a slight dullness of the senses, as if nothing is as bright or colorful now as it was then (and a sore stomach from laughing you a$$ off). this effect should be minimal.

and remember, don't go tripping on an empty stomach and don't forget to do things like drink water just because you're out having fun. treat your body responsibly. if you're worried about the harmful chemicals that could be in the acid you and your friends are taking why not try mushrooms? 100% natural and more or less the same effects. 0% arsenic. or hey, you could always avoid drugs altogether, you might just thank yourself later.

but if you are going to keep doing this sort of thing i would simply advise that you go in with a positive attitude (negativity can be downright dangerous with psychadelics... really) and always take care of your friends.

So you got high with a little help from your friends, huh? Well I hope you learned your lesson. In the 60's and the 70's acid was supposedly cool. People on a trip did some weird stuff. Like walking of the top of a 20 story building because they could fly. Or jumping into a pool because they thought they were Jesus and could wake on water. This and X cause permanent brain damage. Once your hooked you are hooked for life. I know that acid is not physically addictive, but it is seriously mentally addictive. Do something with your life, stop fooling around with your body and your mind.

If it was arsenic you'd probably have a lot worse than a headache. Something like diarrhoea or vomiting.

The headache may have been caused by your actions related to the taking of the drugs. I.e you didn't drink any water for 10 hours so you got a dehydration headache or you sat with you neck cranked over to one side for 3 hours so you've got a tension headache etc,

So it might not be a result of taking the drug but a result of your actions that occurred because you took the drug.

See where I'm going with this one?

Or wait, rather, argghh don't do drugs, errr, it'll kill your brain cells Arggghhh!!!

It sounds like the acid might have been cut with something nasty. Some people use strychnine. There can be some terrible side effects. Blindness, kidney damage, heart failure. . .
Nasty stuff. I suggest you stay away from chemical based party drugs and if you want to get high you should stick to natural substances.

you are lucky to be alive that couldve been rat poison,anthrax..anything..they put anything in drugs these days and I'm vary dissapointed to hear this from you, I know Im not your parents but this is how theyd feel..I understand kids these days like taking drugs but really trust me it only weakens the mind and spirit..if you want maybe try something more natural, like a special non drug called ayuchusa hop i spelled it correctly..its a spiritual herbal well its not a drug but its more of a natural hallucinagenic, the shamans try it to send their minds into different world. since you wanna be out there.
yet, acid,crystal,coke,are terrible and young minds should never try them I've seen kids at the clubs looking just like zombies from the stuff it hurts my heart 2 see that and I think meditation,yoga excercising are much better for you,..forget those so called friends doing it because so called is the key word so called friends god bless you and please dont ever do acid n bad stuff like that, they know your young desperate for a high and will try anything and thats just what they put in it from battery acid to rat urine..we are humas we're not suppose to eat rat urine, battery acid ect..hope you really get what I'm saying I grew up around crack heads, pimps, ect it just taught me to stay away from that type of character and that type of character could be wearing a business suit, or a fur coat get what I'm saying to you..

there nasty i noticed people break out and u can see there pores so easy it gross feeling and i never touch it again it was the biggest mistake i made and do me a favor dont do them again they will **** u up big time
