why is it important for an average person to know how to take vital si?

In case of an accident or heart attack, anything, and they really should know CPR. Vital signs you will know if their pulse is beating and how fast or slow and how they are breathing.
Blood pressure is also important as if a heart attack is going on, etc...........xx

In case of an emergency, people can respond and help a victim. This would be the case where it would be nearly impossible to get medical assistance.
