Mole removal, what leaves less of a scar freezing off or cutting out?
Went to several different dermatologists in the US. Most said they cut them out, some using a sharpened hole punch type device, then stitching up - cost $200 PER MOLE removed. Some say they can shave them off if they aren't deep. Another dermatologist freezes them off, $200 TOTAL (not per mole) for up to 14 moles, so if you had 14 done, it would cost $14.28/each from 200/14=$14.28. Which method leaves less of a scar? Anyone tried various methods? Which is best? Using the cut off method they also do a biopsy to check for cancer which is why that method costs about 10x as much. Links and before/after pictures would also be good if you can supply. Some are on the face so which method would leave a minimal scar?

I'm 30 years old, and a mother of 1. I have no college credit, just an extreme desire to practice medicine. I was thinking about becoming a nurse but I reaaaally want to be a doctor.
BTW I have no college credit, so I would be starting from ground zero.

My entire life I had these little balls around my butthole. They are about the size of mini pencil erasers. I have about 2 maybe 3. They have never ever bothered me before until about a month ago. About a month ago they started itching like crazy. I make sure its clean in all areas and rinsed properly. I just dont understand why all of a sudden they itch so badly! And it doesnt hurt or bother my to sit down. Any ideas? Thanks!

I had all four of my impacted wisdom teeth removed a week ago Tuesday. I found out last Monday that the bottom two were dry sockets, so now I have two holes on either side of my gums that hurt like CRAZY! When I went to the dentist and they told me about the dry sockets they flushed them and then placed a small round piece of packing in it. They did this on both sides but one of my gums hasn't healed completely and has a larger hole then the other side. When I cleaned that side out this morning the 2nd time I flushed it the small piece of packing they put in the came out. It doesn't hurt bad now but it hurt a little bit afterwards. Is this supposed to happen?? They didn't say anything about that happening?? I am kind of worried...... I know it would make sense to go back to the dentist however, I am at work until 5pm. So I am just wondering if anyone else experienced this?

now that most peoples lives have become more sedentary, shouldnt we encourage people to exercise more by creating outdoor running tracks and little mini-parks to exercise in?

by minipark, i mean something like a landscaped park only scaled down so you can dot them around all over a large city so people have one to go to that theyre no more than a mile away from.

they could incorporate a running track for the fit &or energetic...but also have a boundary that older& less energetic people [and pet owners?] can use as a "strolling park" with beautiful planted areas.

My brother has gotten himself addicted to alcohol. This is probably because of his so many frustrations in life. Lately, though, he has started showing signs of regret in his actions. I do know that he doesn't want to go into inpatient rehabilitation, so I thought that it might be good to do an intervention to convince him. What do you think?

A while ago there was a question on here about shaving the pubic area, and one answerer said to not shave that area because it's unnatural to shave it.

But I'm guessing that the answerer probably shaves her legs and armpits, and her man probably shaves his face. And we all get haircuts. That's just the same and just as unnatural.

So how would that be any more unnatural? I do it, and I find that it's a lot cleaner and there's way less odor.

I smoke at least a few times a week, and everytime I smoke I experience an incredible connection to the world around me. I see things in such unique ways that its almost like I am turning the normal filters off in my brain, so that I can see more profounding things. I just wonder if this is just hippy rubbish, or if marijuana in fact is a key to the spirtual side.

My friend has a daughter who's 3 years old & she's had tubes in her ears. She has spells, she tells him that the house is spinning & that her head hurts & she grabs her ears, & I was wanting to know how, or IF, you can help prevent it. Other than him taking her outside to show her that the house isn't spinning, how else can you relieve the pressure that she's feeling & reduce the spell that she has?
