I woke up this morning feeling very gassy, almost like I had diarrhea, but instead mucuos ( a considerable amount) came out. I now have very bad abdominal cramping. I have a reallly bad coccyx that has been hurting ALOT, and have gone to a chiropractor for months now to no avail, could this be realted???

Most likely you have an intestinal infection. My bet would be Campylobacter, but Yersinia, Salmonella and Shigella also produce abdominal pain and cramping, diarrhea and mucus in the stool. If symptoms persist, especially with high fever or bloody stools, see your doctor.

Mucus is also seen in Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. I don't know whether referred pain to the coccyx is present in any of these conditions or whether it is a separate issue.

This has nothing to do with ur hurting coccyx. U r suffering from Dysentry. Visit ur doc who will have ur stool tested & treat u.
