Two very large recent medical studies found that heavy smokers should NOT take large doses (25 mg/day) of synthetic beta-carotene.

So, eats lots of fruits, berries and vegetables for a high intake of antioxidants and other important cancer preventing nutrients. Add a quality multi-vitamin/mineral supplement that is NOT high in synthetic beta-carotene.

Best wishes and good luck.
