ok well my friends birthday party is tomorrow but i might not be able to go coz im sick! i have a sore neck throat and a blocked nose is there any way i can gt better over night?

I remember a friend saying something about their ringing ears after going to a concert.

They said that the ring you hear is the last time you'll ever hear that frequency of sound. And since adults can't hear nearly as much as kids, I almost have to believe them.

Is this depressing fact true?

I mean cakes, pies, chocolate, sweets etc.
But many things that are supposed to be good (eg radishes, lettuce) taste so blande.

1 week ago I woke up with an swollen left foot and ankle. It was painful to walk very far. There was pain in my foot, ankle and calf. Toes were fine. The pain went away after a couple of days but the swelling is still there a week later, although half of what it was initially.

I did not trip, stumble or twist my ankle. I just woke up and it was like that.

Does anyone have any idea what could cause this?
