I don't drink and I've never been drunk. One of my roommates went to a party last night, and then drove home. I despise people who drink and drive, so I'm kinda upset that she drove after being "completely wasted," as one person there put it. My other roommate, who was with her, said she made sure she had sobered up before driving, but they were only there for a few hours. I'm figuring that if they got there at around 11, drank for a few hours, and then came home at 4, that wasn't enough time for the effects to wear off. Since I'm no expert in this kind of situation, I was wondering if she was putting herself or anyone else in danger by driving last night. I live in California, and was part of the Every 15 Minutes program that they do in high school. I saw a lot of my friends "die" during that 24 hour period, and I myself was one of the walking dead. It's had an incredible impact on my life which is why I'm so adament about not drinking and especially not driving while intoxicated.
