You should probably wear a knee brace while you run.
Like one of those full out ones that go below your knee and above it with the velcro and everything.
I also have tendonitis in my knees and my ankles.
You can try pulling one of your legs behind you and make sure it is straight behind or else it will hurt your knee more than help it. Hold it for about 30 seconds
You can also do a stretch on a tree. Put one of your legs about at a 90 degree angle and face the tree. THen bend your knee until your hamstring touches your quad.

Runners knee is very common. I have it myself most runners knee is caused from your running form. When you run if you land on your heels aka heel strike. That could be what's causing the knee pain

I sudjust changing your running form to ether forefoot strike or mid foot strike. You can look up more about this online

Here's a video from youtube that helps to show you how to run on your forefoot .

Another problem is your not stretching we'll enough there is some specific stretches you can do to help runners knee.

I hope this helps if your knees don't get better you might want to go see your doctor . Or take a break from running for a few weeks.

Go to the doctors. You may have Osgood Schlatters. Do more research on it. Its not just for adolescent boys either. I am an 18 year old girl and have it. My doctors say it will always give me pain. So ive had to reduce activities. Ice and rest help a bit. Not many cures. But knee pain sucks anyway. I feel for ya.
