I'm a diabetic and have limited nerve feelings. My apendix burst a few years ago, and I did not realize it. I went for approx 2 weeks before I could no longer function. I underwent emergency surgery, had gangrene, etc. Was in hospital 12 days, had drainage tubes for 2 weeks following. Damn near died. Don't screw around, get to the Doc fast!

The appendix is a "one time use only" body organ. If it goes bad, it doesn't heal. It is surgically removed before it ruptures and spews potentially fatal fluids into your bloodstream.

You have an appendix removed before it perforates and get poison through your system. This is very serious when it happens.

If you don't have it removed; it will kill you by poisoning you to death. When the appendix ruptures it releases poisons so if you don't get it removed in time; the poison will spread and kill you.
