I'm not sure, but don't listen to the person above me when it comes to the apple juice. Apple juice is known for binding people -- in fact, when you have a diarrhea bug, they tell you to eat apples (B.R.A.T. diet). The prune juice might help though, or try an enema.

Drink a glass of water every hour all morning. Then, drink all at once a warm glass of prune juice, as hot as a cup of coffee. Remember. There are two processes at work with bowel movements. One is, the stool has to be soft enough to move. The other process is called "peristalsis", which is the muscular automatic squeezing that goes on in your intestines to push the stool through. You can have the softest stool in the world, but, if peristalsis is wimpy, nothing much is going to happen. And, you can have strong peristalsis action yet nothing happens if the stool is too hard. That's what causes cramping. So, since you are having cramping, that suggests to me that your peristalsis activity is strong enough. It's probably stool that's too hard to move. Maybe even an impaction. I HIGHLY recommend, in addition to the hot prune juice, taking 15 mg of Bisacodyl before bed once

My grandfather's remedy - a glass of very warm water when you get up -- not hot enough to burn yourself, just very warm. Do not drink hot water from the tap. Use cold water and put in the micro for a minute.

My mother used this remedy, and I use it on occasion.

It is important to eat fiber - cereal, whole grain bread, fruit, veggies, and drink 6-8 glasses of water per day. Also, too many people do not allow time to relax. On work days I get up an hour early, drink the warm water, exercise a bit, then eat breakfast. Nature usually behaves herself. To habit-train yourself is good!

i'm no longer an authority in this, yet while your toddlers are waiting to consume eggs (ie. they do no longer look to be allergic), they're reliable. My cousin's toddler substitute into constipated for some 12 months, yet could no longer consume eggs. She tried bananas in spite of the undeniable fact that it did no longer artwork. each physique is distinctive, yet a mix of sparkling bananas, the two finished or mashed and freshly-squeezed orange juice is my suitable tip. additionally, too plenty rice interior the load loss plan would be a clarification for constipation. wish that enables! additionally, i in simple terms remembered, dried figs are super in case you will get them. reliable success.

i need some clarification. you've used all these things, and you still haven't gone? If so, how long has it been? If it's been a few days, that is bad. You need to get to the hospital.

On the other hand, if you have chronic constipation, avoid otc meds other than once in a while.

you need to bump up your fiber intake A LOT. Get some psyllium (metamusil) at any store. Start with one heaping tablespoon a day, then up to 4 tbls a day.
