Constant thirst can be an early sign of diabetes. It can also be a sign that whoever cooks your meals is using too much salt.

How long has this been going on?
Sometimes, you will get extremely thirsty at certain times in your life just because your body happens to need more water at that time.
Try to think of all the possible causes of this. For example, have you been drinking enough fluids lately? Have you eaten anything recently that you don't normally eat that you may be having a reaction to? Have you increased your normal level of activity/exercise? Have you dramatically changed your diet? Have you been adding too much salt or preservatives to your food? Are you feeling well (if you're coming down with something, your body might need more fluids at this time)?
There are a number of reasons for increased thirst; don't panic and jump to the conclusion that it must be something serious right away :).
If the thirst persists for more than a week or so, you should probably see your doctor.

I'm NOT going to tell you about the connection between 'thirst' and diabetes ... but I am going to WARN YOU that if you 'drink too much' you can actually 'drown' yourself by the drinking. You may be 'coming down with something' and your 'constant thirst' is your 'body' trying to 'fix it' because drinking water 'thins' the 'germs' and helps flush them out through the urinary tract. IF YOU DRINK MORE THAN 6 Liters of WATER a day, though, you could get into real TROUBLE ... so if your 'thirst' lasts LONGER THAN 24 hours you need to 'see a doctor' first thing tomorrow morning. Better in your case to be 'safe' than 'drowning yourself' when what you 'really need' is an antibiotic or some 'prescription medicine' to help you 'fight the germs' in your body. If you can't just 'walk in and see your own doctor' then you should go to any emergency room and 'sign in' ... they'll either 'see you' or send you to a 'clinic' that day ...

As a improving alcoholic from a family members of acoholics i will declare specific with certainty. I even have had a lot of those "spells", no longer relaxing. I drank each and on a daily basis everywhere fronm 12-24 beers an afternoon. I blacked out plenty! i will additionally enable you comprehend that once I have been given sober it took a sturdy twelve months for me to get my memory lower back. Your recommendations does regenerate particularly, yet a brilliant form of that injury is permanant. i think I even have some injury which will never pass away. working example i used to be very rapid witted, and the 1st with a sturdy comeback. i'm now no longer the quick certainty seeker i used to be. that's unhappy yet alcohol is unquestionably risky. My mom is likewise an alcoholic. She beverages a brilliant form of vodka each evening, and has for the previous 25 years. you won't be in a position to tell her something becuase she on no account recollects. i'm slowely staring at her slip away. She is becomming paranoid as properly. be careful through fact alcohol isn't the harmeless drug human beings think of it relatively is. GoodLuck
