Meaning what would cause me to become flat footed

as you get older it happens to some people, bad shoes, genetics. i have flat feet and it sucks.

Age and walking barefooted. You can't do anything about aging, but you can wear good shoes with arch and metatarsal support.
I'm having a problem with this right now. Have just gone to a shoestore which specializes in fitting shoes and supplying appropriate correction devices. Been wearing a metatarsal bar for two weeks and my feet do feel better.

I know on a woman heels can cause it. Do you wear shoes with a heel like dress shoe?

NOT getting the write size shoe trust me it happend to me I needed surgury.
