its for our debate and we got the sucky one- smoking should be allowed in public places. and what if someone says what about children there how do i rebutt that statement?

well ur not gonna have a good comeback, but what you can say is that its public air, we all have the right to breath and exhale into it. not allowing people to smoke in public is like not letting cars exaust carbonmonoxide into the enviorment where there are children, which is impossible to keep track of or stop.

Wow. Sucky is right. I"m not sure I could come up with a viable answer to this other than to point out two rights:

The right of a person to do with their body as they see fit.
The right of a person to raise their children as they see fit.

Now, again this is going to bring in the children endangerment issue, so you may have to find a way around that. I would reseach anything you can find on children and second hand smoke. Any proof, or LACK of proof should be considered for your debate.
