Medical marijuana has not been approved for texas residents. There is currently a bill which would allow people with serious illness such as your grandmother's to take marijuana for medical relief, but it has not yet been taken into effect. The name of the bill is HB-164. You can probably search online and see the progress of this bill. She can not legally take marijuana unless she becomes a resident of a state that allows medical marijuana. It is sad because medical marijuana could help your grandmother. It is sad that the government forces her to take potentially deadly medication, when there is a safer alternative. You could find marijuana and give it to her, but you would be breaking the law if you did. If you decide to do this, make sure she has another method of ingestion besides smoking. I would go into further information here, but i would be banned from yahoo answers and i post would be deleted before you even get to read it. Marniol is a synthetic form of THC and most people find it ineffective, with too many side effects. It can be prescribed in any state. I too go to Georiga State. Small world.

well okau I sorta go with what MAJKLB (or whatever those letters were)
But I am allergic to that as well as most other stuff, so it is hard for me to tell you much
I know that foks who are believers in MaryJane think it is a great pain killer. It is my understanding that Fibro often has pain associated with it... so if it is true.. then by all means
But do remeber that even if your state says it is okay, the feds have ruled that it isn't
so if it works for you & you wanna do that... then please also fight the legislation the feds have against it

The best thing you can do is to get rid of all of your toxic cleaning and laundry products as most of these are registered pesticides. Replace these with all natural products and take the old ones to your nearest toxic waste disposal place to get rid of them properly. Have someone come in to clean your home, the carpet and furniture and do all of you laundry with the new products. Once you get rid of those chemicals you should feel a lot better. Also remember to not drink diet soda or use products with Aspartame in them.

my mom uses it for that. she doesn't have health insurance for pain meds or anything and she says it's the only thing she can do to help her sleep and things as well as she does. maybe ask a doctor? well hope that helps. it probably depends on how bad off you are.

I do know people who smoke it for serious pain relief. Of course it is against the law, but for people who suffer, it is my opinion that it would be better than being addicted to pain killers.
