I'm a male thinking of getting into the nursing profession and was wondering what the attitudes are by co-workers and patients about male nurses. My experience I find male nurses to be a lot more stable, less emotional and professional.

Also should a new job title be created for a nurse who is a male?, since I realized that the word "nurse" seems to be thought of as totally female.
It's the same thing that took place when females entered in "male" professions in the 70 and 80's

Why do I settle for things that I know are wrong? Why, when I stand up for my view point, do people take it as I am attacking or criticising? I am tired of worrying about things that are not my responsibility but affect the ones I love negitively.. Finally, how can you buy a crap load of expensive stuff but put your health on hold because you don't have enough money...even when you DO have health insurance through your job? Why bother even having insurance? Why can't you "afford" to take your pets to the vet for a check up? Ask yourself why? Don't ask me why because I know. I care more about my pet's health than myself. I respect animals because they deserve to be healthy. If not for their own health but fo the health of their humans. Sick animals carry germs. ...and don't tell me "ah it won't hurt ya". The mold in your house WIll hurt you! Same thing about the fibreglass. I am tired of being the mother. I have enough to take care of. Why do I keep going around in circle

I pretty much don't feel well every morning, for about an hour to two hours after I wake up... it's like a dull pain in my stomach, and a neasous feeling in my throat...

sometimes, Ill sneeze, and it will make me feel ok for about ten minutes...

that can't be normal?!

No, i am not suicidal. For my english class, i am re-writing Romeo And Juliet in modern times. As you know, Juliet drinks some poison that makes her seem like she died. So i was wondering what is the lethal amount of Advil that could kill you? I am going to use this as the suicide tool IN MY VERSION OF ROMEO AND JULIET because it is a common household item.

i repeat, i am not suicidal. i am only trying to find out for a school project.

I have chronic sinusitus and usually I don't get too sick with them but this time I was in bed for 7 days. Today is the first day I'm feeling much better.. when can I start working out at the gym? I'm still on antiobiotics and I know they can lower your immune system and the gym can be full of germs. I just don't want to get sick again but I hate not working out!

When I am active, my back does not seem to hurt as much. If I take alieve before my day begins, I am fine, but if taken during the time I feel pain, it does not. When I become inactive and just lay around, my back gets more stif and sore. Whats going on here?

I have had panic/anxiety attacks in the past. I was prescribed Xanax which helps, because it's on a take as needed basis. My question is, I occasionally drink coffee. Of course, coffee may exacerbate the anxiety, though it usually doesn't cause me any problems. If my anxiety does happen to surface, would it be dangerous to take a Xanax after I had a coffee? Would mixing the two be dangerous? I know it's not a good idea, but I just wanted to make sure taking a xanax after having a coffee earlier wouldn't be dangerous
