Finger cots can be used for wound care, and also for other purposes such as I use them when flipping through photographs and negatives to prevent fingerprints from damaging them. I also use them in my work for a vending machine company where I count money all day, if I have a paper cut, I can get it easily infected if not covered, because you have no idea how filthy money is. I also wear those painter's or doctor's masks to prevent inhaling the lint from the money which can cuase wicked severe lung problems.

If you deal with a lot of paperwork, the "finger condoms" help you flip through the sheets of paper without having to wet your finger to grip the paper.

They're also used in the restaurant industry. If you cut your finger, they protect the cut and bandaid from getting wet

They are meant more as a "bandaid" not for sexual purposes like regular condoms...

They are used often in the food service professions because they are more water proof then a bandage and won't fall off either like one.

If one of the people has a disease and it can easily be spread through a tiny cut or by going and touching yourself after so it just makes it a lot safer but doable if one person has a disease and the other person doesn't have it and doesn't want it
