No, i am not suicidal. For my english class, i am re-writing Romeo And Juliet in modern times. As you know, Juliet drinks some poison that makes her seem like she died. So i was wondering what is the lethal amount of Advil that could kill you? I am going to use this as the suicide tool IN MY VERSION OF ROMEO AND JULIET because it is a common household item.

i repeat, i am not suicidal. i am only trying to find out for a school project.

I don't want to use illegal drugs because the way that Juliet got the poison was not illegal, per se. Cocaine or other drugs would be too hard to use in the play. I don't want to have to include parts explaining that the drugs she took were illegal.

Maybe instead of specifying a distinct amount, you could simply state that she consumed the full bottle? Just an idea.

If you really want to make it "modern" use something like meth or coke. In the play, they had to go to a pharmacist and buy the poison, it wasn't just lying around the house.
