My mom has us all worried because she is very stubborn and she will not go to the doctor. Christmas day she had this shooting pain all the way up her spine and to her neck, it debilitated her for a few seconds but she was ok. She is also complaining of a stiff neck and shoulder, she's tired all the time so she never wants to go shopping or do things that we used to do all the time, she doesn't eat well and she vomits when she sees bad stuff, when she thinks about it or if she eats to much, sometimes she does it for no apparent reason she used to not be that way, its not anemia she takes medicine for that. I can't figure it out. HELP!

I had a little bit of a sore throat yesterday. Today I wake up and my uvula is swollen, my ears hurt and I can hardly talk and can't swollow. How long will this last and what can I do to get better.

And I have soccer practice today so I can't miss. anything to get me better by 12? will it heal itself?

My husband has a severe drink problem 12 months ago. Spring this year he dried out and went into AA. However, it kept creeping back only one or two, now and again. He decided he wasn't an alcoholic, and that he only agreed because of the arguing. I was labelled controlling, by all his friends and family. So over christmas I said we could have a few, but since then he had drank every day, we argue all the time, as he says im getting on his nerves going on and that he is not an alcoholic. He isn't going behind my back anymore which was killing me, but he's slowly drinking more and more everyday and starting earlier (only larger)
What can I do, its making me so depressed and Im having panic attacks. Help

Last time, I posted a question about news reporters. I went to our media organization today and had interview. They asked me to get my voice tested. Having finished with the test, I took a film to the another room. He watched the film and said “…ummm... Your voice is okay, but you have a little stress in your speaking…” after that, he asked me to come in some other time in order to have another test in media. Now, my questions are here. 1. How can I reduce my stress? Should I consume a special pill?
2. How do you predict the outcome? Am I going to be accepted? What goes in an interviewer’s mind? Oh ! I’m handsome enough to be a good news reporter :D:D [shy]

I have to have the heating on most of the time, yet still often wear scarves and gloves inside, keeping my coat on most of the time.

My family are always complaining that it is too cold as well.

Is it because i dont do much exercise (i.e. gentle walking daily and thats it), or because i dont have much bulk (im pretty small framed)?

Really strange bits of me just get randomly cold (like my chin??) though mainly its the obvious extremities.

Does anyone else have this problem? is it worth going to a doctors for??

I saw on larry king there was a woman who was in a contest. Contestants drank as much water as they possibly could....and the last one to go to the bathroom would win...she drank two gallons of water and died....How is that possible? I dont think anything was wrong with the water i think she died from the amount she drank?????

Belive it or not, Ive been having this problem on a consistent basis since about 1992. It seemed to start after I had surgery that year and some of my stomach muscles had to be cut (I've healed since then) for a medical reason. Since that time, virtually every part of my body where there is muscle has twitched one way or another. Not like tourettes where its noticable unless you're looking carefully at that part of the body. The part of my body that twitch most often are my calf muscles, my fingers when they're relaxed, my biceps and sometimes my back but like I said, anywhere there's skin, its twitched like my eyelids, my back. It happens regularly, doesnt hurt but just curious what could be the cause. I'm 24, going on 25, I have hydrocephlus since birth.

I had an experience the other day with one of my friends, whom this happened to and an ambulance was called by the employees of the store, despite her not wanting an ambulance to be called. Are they supposed to call an ambulance if someone faints? Will they not call an ambulance if you don't want them to? Or will they maybe just not call one and just revive the person?

my younger sister plays volleyball, and for a long time now shes been having knee pain. she cant sleep unless she moves her leg back and forth to pop it. i dont think its safe for her to do that, although i dont know why. i hate seeing her like that, and weve tried so many places and meds for her,...nothing is working..whats wrong with my 16 year old baby sister???

I am taking a 15 day colon cleanse and I'm on about day 5 I think? Well not much to report and the stuff I read online shows these hideous pictures of big slime blobs coming out of people. I haven't had that, should I or what shoudl happen? my hubby doesn't seem to care much about his dental hygiene. everytime there is this foul smell emanating from his mouth and i wonder if i should tell him about it as i do not want to be considered rude for letting him know about it as he is really sensitive. i really care and cant ignore this for long.....
