Most sore throats are viral in nature. They are self limiting and usually lasts from 3-4 days. You should adequately hydrate yourself during this time. Take analgesics if you need to. You may wish to gargle with a warm saline solution to help alleviate the painful throat. There are some over-the-counter medications like gargles and mouthwashes that may help too but plain saline would work as well. Get some rest (unfortunatley soccer practice might stress your immune system and may prolong the infection so I advise you not to go). If it is a bacterial infection, you will feel much worse, sometimes with high grade fevers and an overall feeling of general weakness. You would need to see a doctor if this is the case so he can rescribe some antibiotics. Fortunately, only a small percentage of infections are bacterial in nature.

Sore throat is usually due to a viral infection. Gargling with warm salty water or mouthwash really helps. You can get more details and home remedies available at http://ailments.in/sorethroat.html

Go to a walk in clinic, if it is spreading to your ears, it may be an infection that you need meds for.
See if you feel well enough to go to practice, any infection needs rest to help the body heal.
A regular sore throat should go away in 2 days, and should not effect the ears

It might, but if it lasts more than 4 days you should go see a Dr, to take some antibiotic pills/shot (depending how bad it is)

it is probably the start of a cold darling...just take the usual cold remedies..they usually get rid of that uncomfortable throat/heady feeling within an hour or so...then after soccer..wrap yourself up nice and warm and have a sleep!..
