after a day of exercise i get terible leg cramps i never over do the exercise but i often wake up with my legs in cramps how can i stop cramps and when i do get them relive them also what are they

u need a calcium and potassium and water supplement to rebalance the electrolytes. may be due to lactic acid accumulation in ur muscles, shower with warm water it will release the pain

You're body is lacking in potassium or magnesium. Eat some bananas. Drink some Gatorade. That will increase your potassium...then stick in some peanut butter and chocolate (small amounts will do) to help increase your magnesium. After a few days of this, your leg cramping (aka charlie horses) should go away.

I think what you are talking about is called a "charlie horse", they often happen during the night. You may be lacking potassium. When you get them just relax either massage it and point your toes towards the ceiling as high as you can. Eating Bananas are supposed to be good for leg cramping too.

Low levels of calcium and potassium can cause leg cramps. Eat bananas, drink orange juice, eat more dark green leafy vegetables (like spinach) and drink 4 glasses of milk a day. If the cramps persist, you should go see your doctor.

You may be low in sodium (salt ) in your system. If you are sweating a lot you lose a lot of salt and that can deffo give you cramps in the body..

you have to do STRETCHING before and after your gym class.
