my hubby doesn't seem to care much about his dental hygiene. everytime there is this foul smell emanating from his mouth and i wonder if i should tell him about it as i do not want to be considered rude for letting him know about it as he is really sensitive. i really care and cant ignore this for long.....

Take a breath mint yourself, kiss him hotly and say 'Honey, doesn't my mouth smell fresh and good, and my kiss more pleasant? Maybe you can give me the same experience. Incidentally, it is not possible to totally stop bad breath. All people have it 24/7/365, whatever they may do to neutralise it. This is a fact and no amount of cleaning would result in a 100% bad breath free situation. If you dont believe this, check out your breath yourself at any time and also list the names of anyone who you think dont have any bad breath. The condition is too complicated to afford a total cure, despite claims to the contrary. Even dentists and doctors have it!

By all means tell him. It simply shows that you love him. You are a couple at this point and just as you would your child or family member you have to tell him. If you smell it chances are everyone else who he comes in contact with smells it as well. Have you ever had tissue hanging or observed someone with tissue hanging from their pants and everyone pretended not to notice but everyone whispered about it behind that person back. He's a part of you now and you must love him as yourself. He can take it!

When you guys go out to dinner, try popping a tic tac and then offering him one. Or if he does brush his teeth, passionately kiss him right after and say something like, god you taste so good. Hope this helps!

tell him. say just so you know. your breathe stinks. for x-mas buy him toothepaste dental floss and some mouthwash. tell him to rinse with hydrogen peroxide. see if he gets the hint. no reason why you should have to put up with that.
