i have a really really bad sore throat, it hurts that much it took me over 3hrs to eat a little bit of ice-cream and the doctor gave me some tablets but they feel like there doing nothing and don't know what to do

It is so creepy and it has happened to me and many people in my family (mom, uncle and brother) Sometimes I can feel myself falling asleep but its really creepy and I can't stop it. The dreams are oddly disturbing and I can't wake myself up. I'm aware that I'm dreaming but I can't scream, move, anything and I can't wake up. When this happens, my husband can hear me wimpering and he has to shake me really hard for me to wake up and snap out of it. This doesn't happen all the time but it terrifies me when I can feel myself falling ito one of these dream states.

Its sort of like I'm semi-conscious or something like a coma, Has anyone else experienced this? What can be done about it?

Everyday I get tired, especially in the afternoons and evenings. I have to get up at around 6, and I get about 8 hours of sleep on weekdays.

I baught briefs that was 30% polyester and 70% cotton, but I have been having skin irritaion previous to the briefs so I returned them, and baught more softer 95% cotton and 5% nylon briefs. Could nylon be kown to irritate skin like polyester.


and I'm also wondering if the nylon is only in the streatchy waist band and the little band that raps around the legs. But all the cotton seems to be a little streatchy as if the 5% nylon is in the whole.


Am I safe with the 5% nylon in the material to not irritate the skin more than it is already.

Its realy painfull and... I realy dont know what to do! I was going to go to the hospitol but, I realy cant sit down, els I get a sharp pain in my back. Im thinkin of getting a knife and seeing if I can dig a little out and pullon it a little. If you know whats wrong please help!

I'm a jr. high student who has worn glasses for about seven years. However, I'm thinking about asking for contacts. The glasses are a bit restricting, and I think I would look better without them. What are the pros and cons of contacts as opposed to glasses?

you take this involuntary deep breath that is sort of raspy (the same heaving breath deep in your stomach that you have when you are crying really hard ). Does anyone know what causes this? Or has this happened to you? Just wondering.

I am trying to find out how often a normal, healthy person urinates each day. I'm trying to set up some research that involves normal, healthy people going to the bathroom, but I need to know how long to keep my subjects in order to have them go to the bathroom twice while they're with me. I can't seem to find information anywhere about normal, healthy people. Everything I find is about people with urinary tract problems. Do you know how often a normal, healthy person urinates? Please don't answer unless you can provide your source. I need a source. I don't care how much *you* personally pee. Thanks.

I heard most Myopia stops once you're grown up but it was the other way around in my case. I first got far-sightedness prescription when I was 14 or so and I only wore my glasses when I was in class. My prescription didn't change any until I was 19. I studied computer science in college and got a job as a programmer. My eye sights got worse since I was in college.

I started to wear glasses all the time a few years ago and I'm now 28. Last year my prescription was -2.25 left eye -2.25 right eye and the right eye had -0.50 cyl 110 axis astigmatism which I never had before. I got my eye checked again a few days ago and it got worse. -2.75 left eye, -3.00 right eye -0.75 cyl 110 axis.

What can I do to stop my eye sights from getting worse? I was planning to get a PRK or LASIK next year but I think I'll wait until my eye sights are stabilized. I'm just wondering why my myopia is getting worse when I'm not growing up anymore.

I realized the other day that boils or acne around my anus have been recurring for a few years, especially at my hip joints. i've also had whiteheads everywhere on my scrotum (nutsack) since puberty so about 12-13 years. is this normal? i've had the doctor's remove a cyst once from my scrotum and they didnt say anything so im assuming it's fine?

I just got a call from my doc over at the VA. I have been told I have low thyroid hormon in my blood and thus a not working thyroid. My doc says she doens't think I have a goider but has ordered up an ultrasound on it anyways just to be safe and follow up blood work to see how I am adjusting to meds. She has sent me so stuff that is call levothyroxine na (synthroid) to replace my missing hormons. My doc says I might be on this stuff for the rest of my life. Does anyone know what I might expect on to feel on this stuff because it will speed up my motablizm and what time of day is best (aside from the same time each day)? (ie morning noon night)

I am having an operation in early January, and am having general anaesthetic. My friend tells me that anaesthesia can be traumatic for the body, and I may lose a few pounds.

I was extremely near sighted and I had radial keratotomy surgery performed on both eyes in the early 90's. Laser surgery wasn't even FDA approved back then.

As I approached 40, I've lost some of the crispness that I had andI wear glasses some of the time now. I've heard conflicting answers on whether or not I could have LASIK even though I've had RK.
