Been at my job for 5 years. Very stressful disaster relief type of job with bosses that curse and throw things at me. Recently, doc told me to possibly leave my job. Since here, I was developed Hypertension, generalized anxiety disorder, gained almost 100 lbs (now weigh 270), high cholesterol, allergy problems (We bring in items to our shop that have mold and smoke on them from disasters), and more.... Litterally - the doc. said my job is killing me. But it supports me and my wife, pays the mortgage, the cars, for my school, etc.. I cant just quit and I have been looking for a new job for awhile with no luck... what can I do if anything?

This may be silly but my best friends dad (40) died of a sudden heart attack almost a year ago (1 week before her wedding) now I just had another friend who's father (64) passed away also, 1 month after hers. My wedding is 3 weeks away and with all of this, all I am thinking about is my dad! I'm becoming so worried about him now. He is very overweight and I was wondering if anyone knew information on the major health risks for his age or any good websites with some information. That way maybe if I decide to talk to him and help him then I will be more informed. Thanks!

Ok, for like the past three weeks I've had horrible lips. They really hurt. I've been even getting blisters on them. Could this have something to do with my health? I've had a bad UTI and it spread to my kidneys....so, does that have anything to do with it? I've got my kidneys under control, its just my lips now. I keep carmex and vaseline on them but they are dried out again within 5 minutes. Its unbelievable. So, any advice? Thanks!

Honestly. I have been given various, so called addictive, painkillers. Once the dentist gave me percaset. That is when I found out what it feels like to be sea sick. I was soooo sick.

Another time I was given Morphine by the military doctor. I thought there where ants crawling all over me. Ever see a grown man stand up in a hospital bed? Well, they had give me some kind of shot to stop the “ants”. I don’t remember anything after that.

Recently I was given vicodin for my ear infection. The effect is much like the percaset. I get sick just thinking about it.

Even when I take over the counter meds. I usually have to take only half what the dosage says.

How can people use this stuff every day? I have known a lot of recreational drug users from my HS. Most were hard pressed to be D students, and were sick regularly. How can people live like that?

Almost everything from soaps to dishsoap is antibacterial. I know it's good to use. Are we using too much of them now? Will our current antibiotics & antibacterial products still work in 10 years? 20 years? 50 years?
