it could just be leftover from the previous infection and may take another day or two to go away. AZO makes pills to help with relief for UTI - but I am not sure it it stops the urges.

It is important to clarify whether "frequent urination" means true frequent trips to the bathroom, versus excessive urination (output of a lot of urine leading to frequent urination), or frequent attempts to urinate with only reduced urine output (i.e. small amount of urine). Urinating too often can indicate several serious medical conditions. Some possibilities include urinary tract infections, bladder conditions (e.g. interstitial cystitis), kidney conditions (e.g. nephritis), or prostate conditions (e.g. BPH). Also possible are metabolic conditions such as Type 1 diabetes, Type 2 diabetes, or diabetes insipidus. Seek prompt professional medical advice about urination symptoms.
In my case I had overactive bladder and was placed on Ditropan. I started taking it and the effects were immediate, by the next day I was not having to go all the time. It has been a great medication for me.
Make sure you see a doctor, if you feel the doctor you are currently seeing is not helping you, go get another opinion.
Good Luck.

Did your doctor actually give you a prescription for anti-biotics?
Are you drinking more than you normally would?
Try the old home remedy of cranberry juice and if you might try a urinary health supplement (vitamin) from any drug or health food store.
If you have access, an herbalist might be able to help you if there is an imbalance that western doctors can't seem to treat.

Ok, try to remain calm. You know, I can try to speculate, but that's all anyone here can do here unless they're a doctor. You need to talk to your doctor about it. It might be a million other things. But my point is to talk to your doctor about this because this is his/her job. I feel concerned for your health, especially because this is impacting other areas of your life, and the fact that you are asking people online for their help is a bit disconcerting.
So see your doctor, dear. It probably may not be anything, but better safe than sorry. And if it's worth anything, I've been in your situation, too and it turned out to be I just had too much sugar.

Go to the drugstore, ask you pharmacist where they keep the new over the counter medication for symptoms of urinary frequency. The current name escapes me but it used to be called Pyridium. It will turn your urine orange and you should only take it for two or three days, but it should calm down your problem. If the problem comes back when you stop taking the Pyridium, then it is time to see a Urologist, ask your doc to refer you to one.

Get your doctor to test you for diabetes, it is said that frequent urges to wee could be a sign, once that is erased out of the equation, you will know your clear then it could be just a weak bladder.

This could very well be signs of a weak and failing bladder. You need to go to the hospital and get it checked out very soon before the condition worsens...

Are you female? If so go to your OBGYN and ask for a pelvic exam and/or ultrasound to determine if you have a fibroid tumor that is pushing up against your bladder.
