Many explanations to this problem...first and foremost I would guess an inner ear infection. But since it has been going on for years it might be a disorder known as vertigo. This is also an inner ear disorder where there is a probelm with the inner ear balance mechanisms in the brain or with the nerve connections between these two organs. The most common symptoms of vertigo are dizzy spells even with the eyes closed and even nausea.
If this is not the case another possible explanation is syncope. This is a fancy term for fainting spells (which start out with dizziness and nausea). Some possible causes of this are low blood pressure, lack of sleep, and hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).
OF COURSE above all take her to the doctor as soon as possible because this is a very serious problem you are dealing with.

Well I had that and the doctors, ENT did all kinds of tests and determined that it was an inner ear infection. Then I found out that they basically just tell you that because they have no idea why it is happing but that there is nothing health wise wrong with me. They gave me compazine for the vomiting and valume for the dizziness (I used to fall down on the ground I would be so dizzy). Then I went to a chiropractor who did some xrays and determined that my C1 vertabra was out and pinching some nerves. He also said that this was very uncommon in someone my age that this usually happened in the older or elderly people. Anyways it took about 5 times of me going and him slowly popping it back in and I was finally cured. It has been like two years since I got an episode but when I do I just go see him and he pops it back in.

I have the same symptoms. it was diagnosed as menieres disease some type of problem with the inner ear. I get ringing in the ear that fluctuates. the dizzy spells are severe but last around 4 to eight hours when i get one I usually vomit violently till I fall asleep. then when i wake up I feel hung over but otherwise fine. I take several vitamins to control the symptoms. that has helped alot if this sounds familiar e-mail me I have some sites that helped give me info. once diagnosed the doctors werent much help there is no specialist where I live.

When was the last time you took them to the doctor? This is not normal behavior - and it's been going on for years?
Take this child to a doctor!! If you don't get an answer from one, go on to another. You aren't going to find an accurate diagnosis on here, so put the computer down and take care of your child.

You shouldn't disown her. She made a mistake but you need to talk to her about it in a civilized manner. She might be pregnant but most likely she isn't. Kids are maturing so fast these days. I'm 18 and was 11 when I had my first period and didn't get my D cup breasts until I was 13.LOL It's normal for periods to be irregular at her age though. When I was around 16 they started to get more regular but before I got pregnant I sometimes even had them twice a month.

my son suffers with headaches and occasionaly feels dizzy and also vomits with this. i would suggest that you keep a diary of when this happens then go to ur doctor as there could be a perfectly good answer. it could be that he needs glasses.

see a doctor, don't ask people from the net, theres allot of weirdos that could give you nutty responses. I'd put my child's health in the hands of someone trained to take that on.

you should really see a doctor! that isn't normal, and probably are symptoms from some type of illness.
