This may be silly but my best friends dad (40) died of a sudden heart attack almost a year ago (1 week before her wedding) now I just had another friend who's father (64) passed away also, 1 month after hers. My wedding is 3 weeks away and with all of this, all I am thinking about is my dad! I'm becoming so worried about him now. He is very overweight and I was wondering if anyone knew information on the major health risks for his age or any good websites with some information. That way maybe if I decide to talk to him and help him then I will be more informed. Thanks!

Well the first ones that come to mind for me are heart disease and diabetes. Both very serious and potentially life threatening if not treated properly. I would definately say talk to him for sure, it sounds like you really care about him and coming from you he might decide to get proactive about his health. Tell him you wanted to talk to him about this because you want him to be around for many, many years to come. Wish you the best!
