Fairly frequently I get a nagging pain in my right calf, it feels like the early stages of cramp, but it never progressed to full blown cramp, it just stays the same and remains there for hours at a time. It tends to occur mainly in the evenings, not triggered by anything in particular. Eventually, I get to sleep and in the morning it's gone.
I did tear the muscle once, but that was 6 years ago and it seemed to heal fine.
It's really annoying because nothing I do seems to get rid of the pain. Painkillers don't help.
Any ideas what it could be or how to get rid of it? I'm 24, I'm in good health otherwise, I don't smoke.......it's not triggered by walking or anything like that.
